Asics Gel-Cumulus 23 Shoe Review

The Cumulus-23, the highly anticipated update to a historic shoe from Asics. The Gel-Cumulus is a lightweight, medium cushioned shoe built to withstand a lot of miles. 

The durability of the shoe combined with its breathable upper and cushioning allows the Cumulus to be a versatile shoe in your rotation. 

Whether looking for a great running shoe, a comfortable option on a walk, or a lightweight shoe for the gym, the Gel-Cumulus checks those boxes.

The upper is made with an engineered mesh made from recycled materials with more form-fitted targeted areas for support and breathability. 

The Cumulus 23 is made with a series of pillars and slopes built into the cushion to support the foot and add holistic support. These pillars and slopes are positioned differently between men’s and women’s to accommodate natural footshapes. 

We believe the Cumulus can be enjoyed by anyone. It's lightweight enough to handle faster runs and durable enough to take the strain of daily usage.

First, the Cumulus comes with a newly designed upper. Like previously mentioned, its new upper design is shaped to hug your foot without risking movement and enhancing breathability.  

Second, the foam is updated with full-length Flytefoam. This is Asics’ ultra lightweight technology designed to make running feel effortless and enjoyable. . 

Finally, the addition of the 3D Space construction in the shoe adds more holistic support. These pillars, which are shaped into the top of the midsole, adapt to your feet with use. This is designed to customize the feel of the shoe the more you wear them, only enhancing the fit over time.
