Rub elbows with local running celebrity and 2008 NVHS grad, Chris Derrick, this Sunday, December 16! 11 a.m. Meet and Greet with Chris at The Spike Shed! 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. 2 mile run with Chris and the chance to try out the Nike Shield footwear (Pegasus, Free, Lunarglide & Structure) 12:15 - 1 p.m. Post-Run Warm-Up, featuring hot chocolate and other goodies. Also, shop for customizable Nike Hyperwarm apparel plus all the other great Spike Shed gear! Chris had a stellar running career at NVHS, reaching national fame. At Stanford University, Chris earned 13 All-American Honors, set an American Junior 5000m record, and consistently placed top 4 in NCAA championship meets. Most recently, Chris placed 4th in the 2012 Olympic Trials. There is no fee for this event, which is sponsored by Nike.
