Fall 2022 Marathon and 1/2 Marathon Training

Naperville Running Company Marathon training is BACK! Join us for a 17-week in-person training program, designed to gear you up for your fall half or full marathon. Here are the details:
Who: YOU! All paces are welcome. *We do ask that you are physically able to cover a 10K distance by the start of training. The first run is 7 miles.*
What: A 17-week step-by-step program to get you to the starting line of a fall half or full marathon.
Where: This year we'll be meeting at the WHEATON STORE. That's right! We'll be logging these miles on the prairie path!
When: We'll begin Saturday 6/18 for the full marathon group. The half marathon training officially starts on Saturday 7/9, but you're more than welcome to join us early.
Pace groups will be provided starting at an 8:30 pace (marathon) through a run/walk interval group. The half marathon pacers will start at a 9:30 pace through a run/walk. Along with Saturday morning group runs, we have Tuesday night speed sessions available at the south location, Wednesday evening runs from the Wheaton store, and themed run events from our north location. We'll also be offering some helpful educational materials along the way, including nutrition and injury prevention tips, assisted long runs later in the training, a private Facebook page, and direct communication with our run group coordinator, Monica. BONUS! You'll receive a welcome box on the first day of training filled with some of our favorite running essentials, designed to get you started on this awesome training adventure.
